Campfire Creek Log Cabin in Brown County IndianaRecently built, this log cabin is a woodsman's dream. It sits high on a hill that overlooks Salt Creek Valley, and is surrounded by lots of tall trees. You can sit on the porch that runs the entire length of the house and look at leaves and wildlife to your heart's content. In fact, there are two porches, one is open, one is partly screened, and both are 78-feet long! For those evenings when you want to sit outside and toast your toes, or roast some hot dogs on a stick, you'll appreciate the campfire pit that's just a few steps from the house.As you open the front door you will come into a beautiful Great Room that has it all: two sofas, a gorgeous wood-burning fireplace made of brick and stone, and a TV, with satellite service. The well-equipped kitchen is also in this area, and features hickory cabinets, a nice refrigerator, a wall oven, and all necessary utensils for creating a meal. Some of your adoring fans will undoubtedly want to sit at the island and watch you work your magic on the gas cook-top. A charcoal grill on the screened porch just off the Great Room is another option for delicious country suppers while you're here. A wide stairway with a lovely wood and wrought iron railing leads you up to a cozy seating area in the loft that looks over the Great Room, which may be just the place you want to immerse yourself in the new novel you brought along. You will also be pleased to find a large bedroom suite, complete with a queen bed, and private bath on this level. The suite is perfect for a second couple, or your mother-in-law, as it boasts its own heating/cooling system, and separate hot water heater. Come back downstairs to the main level: there's a half-bath near the kitchen.then on down the hall to the master bedroom suite. There's a comfy queen bed just calling your name, in a big room with a ceiling that's 26-ft. high, and several windows looking out into the woods. Neat log-style furniture fits this cabin perfectly.and then you've got to check out the bathroom! Double sinks, tile floors, and a tiled walk-in shower. Double shower heads? You bet. You can step out of the shower and then on to the screened porch and let the breeze blow-dry your hair. Enjoy a soak in the hot tub. We're not done yet, so let's venture on down to the lower level. Here we find a perfect family room outfitted with leather sofas, a TV with dvd's, a PlayStation 2, a pool table, and double doors that open to the patio and the warm and bubbling hot tub. More sleeping accommodations are on this level: two bedrooms, each with queen beds, another full bathroom completes the home's vast size and varied amenities.
