Around the Corner Cabin ... is an A-frame cabin on 15 wooded acres, conveniently located halfway between Bloomington and Nashville on State Road 45. The main level of this cabin has a spacious living room with TV/SAT/DVD/CD, a gas log fireplace, a full bath, and a fully equipped kitchen. The acreage borders Morgan-Monroe State Forest. Enjoy a long distance view of Brown County from the main level deck. A spiral staircase takes you up to a game loft with lots of board games for your weekend get-a-way. There is also a TV/VCR in the loft with plenty of children’s videos for our younger guests. A spiral staircase takes you down to the 2 guest bedrooms (1 queen, 2 twins), full bath and wet bar. The queen bedroom opens onto a stone patio surrounded by the flower garden. In late summer, enjoy peaches from the peach tree. The twin bedroom has 2 antique brass beds. This cabin has a large lower level deck with a hot tub, outside dining around an umbrella table, and a charcoal grill. Sit back and relax and take advantage of southern Indiana beauty. You are close to Lake Lemon, Lake Monroe Reservoir, Morgan-Monroe State Forest, Hoosier National Forest and the campus of Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana. Visit Bloomington and enjoy everything a college town has to offer: theatre, music, big ten sports and wonderful ethnic restaurants close to campus and downtown. Mike's Music and Dance Barn, located on St. Rd. 46, between Bloomington & Nashville, Indiana, offers music and/or line dance lessons on Monday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights. You are close to Brown County State Park, T.C. Steele state historic site, Bill Monroe Bluegrass Museum, Yellowwood Forest and the village of Nashville, Indiana, which features over 250 shops offering all forms of art, country crafts, jewelry and antiques. Dine at one of the many local restaurants and afterward, enjoy a stage play at the Brown County Playhouse or Coachlight Theater.
