- Guests with powerboats cannot launch them from the cabin.
They can launch them at the public boat launch site about 3 miles from the
cabin (as the crow flies).
- Guests can 'moor' their boats in front of the cabin.
This requires anchoring or tying off on a tree and wading to shore because
there is no dock. (It is against DNR regulations to have a dock on the
protected side of Lake Monroe.)
- There is easy in and out access for parking small boats no more than
18' in length at the top of the hill, but in ALL cases you must launch
your boat at the nearby public access Salt Creek boat ramp on osuth on
TC Steele Rd. Larger boats will struggle with in/out parking so they
MUST go initially to the public boat ramp.
