The Kids Place
The Kids' Place, built in 1999, is one of our guests' favorite homes.
It is spacious, secluded, on a hillside surrounded by tall trees and woods, and provides exceptional scenery and areas to hike in the woods.
This cabin has a long private driveway with a narrow bridge (anyone hauling a boat or camper should check with management before booking).
The large living room has a Brown County stone, wood-burning fireplace with a raised hearth. Guests sleeping on the queen-sized
sofa bed might feel like they have the best sleeping accommodations, sleeping in front of a roaring fire. A half bathroom is conveniently located near the living room.
The kitchen is roomy and well-equipped, and provides easy access to both the dining room and the screened in porch with a table for outside meals.
The hot tub can be found outside on the deck that wraps from the dining room door to the screened in porch.
Two large bedroom suites offer complete privacy and feature queen beds, bathrooms and views of nature.
Up the drive past The Kids' Place is our historic log cabin rental, The Book, which accommodates 4 guests. Within walking distance, a family of ten can enjoy a private getaway in the country.
Travel to the town of Bean Blossom less than 3 miles from the home and discover the history of Bill Monroe and the bluegrass he brought to Brown County. One of two covered bridges can be found in Bean Blossom along with some antique shops. The Village of Nashville is 5.5 miles, and the Brown County State Park is 7.5 miles.
