My Country Cabin
My Country Cabin is the perfect retreat for those looking for the tranquility of the country with quick access to beautiful Lake Monroe. With 1600 square feet, four bedrooms and two full baths, this lovely log cabin has room for you and all of your crew! Situated on over 1.2 acres, and adjoining Hoosier National Forest, a stay at My Country Cabin will truly provide the peace and relaxation that you've been searching for. Whether you want to cuddle by a warm fire or relax in the outdoor hot tub, you will find a carefree world just waiting for you!
Inside this country style log cabin you will find four bedrooms and two full baths. Up the loft style stairs you will find the master bedroom which offers a queen size log canopy bed with an adjoining master bath plus a balcony overlooking the forest. Across the hall is the second bedroom which features two twin beds. The remaining two bedrooms can be found down the loft style stairs in the lower level walk-out basement. In one bedroom you will find a double bed, and in the other there is a twin day bed. These two bedrooms are adjoined by a recreational room, featuring a full size futon, television with satellite, DVD player, and a foosball table. Just outside the recreation room is the lower level deck with a hot tub that offers great views and plenty of rest and relaxation!
My Country Cabin has on its main level a fully equipped kitchen, dining area and living room with a wood burning fireplace. Just off the kitchen is a large deck with a charcoal grill. Scenic views of the forest can be enjoyed from the kitchen window overlooking the deck.
Do you have a boat? Bring it with you, as the main entrance to Monroe Lake is only four miles away. Enjoy hiking and fishing? Check out Hardin Ridge Recreation Center which is only minutes away and offers a launch ramp into Monroe Lake that is usually less crowed than the main causeway.
