North Fork Log Cabin/East Side of Lake Monroe This two bedroom, two-bath romantic and secluded log cabin is off the beaten path, yet very close to all the IU, Monroe County and Brown County visitor destinations. The cabin is surrounded by State and National Forests. A fifteen-minute hike down the old road will bring you to the headwater of Lake Monroe and the Stillwater Wildlife Refuge. Bald eagles often nest in the area.

Grab a rocking chair on the covered front porch or relax in the hot tub on the back deck and observe the abundant wildlife. Snuggle in front of the natural stone fireplace and watch one of the more than fifty movies provided.

The private main level bedroom has a queen size bed. The lower level bedroom has a double bed. The fully equipped kitchen is open to the spaciousdining and living area. The large hand hewn logs, yellow pine flooring, wood ceilings, and hickory cabinets provide a wonderful rustic retreat.
