Half-way between Bloomington, Indiana and Nashville, Indiana, half-way between Lake Monroe and Lake Lemon, half-way between Brown County State Park and McCormicks Creek State Park. Inside you will find one bedroom with a queen size poster bed, 1 full bath and a small kitchen with an apartment size refrigerator. Breakfast in the morning in the cozy dining nook before a day of activities on the campus of Indiana University, the great college town of Bloomington or the quaint artists colony known as "Little Nashville". See the wonderful landscapes of TC Steele hanging in the student union building and visit the artist's historic homesite and studio, near Belmont, between Bloomington and Nashville. There is a living room with gas fireplace and an instant air bed if your IU student decides to spend the night. There is a front deck with built in benches for birding or enjoying the sunset. Out back is a patio with an ornamental pond and a fountain. There is an outdoor hot tub, with a winter view of the neighboring pond, for relaxing after a big game, and an outdoor firepit for samores & ghost stories later. |
