Enjoy the peace and quiet of being alone on 20 acres of wooded hills and hollows. Hike down the hill from the deck and picnic by the stream and little waterfall. Sit by the fully stocked fishing pond. and listen to the quiet noises of the wild. You'll enter Quilters Cabin from a large front deck with built-in wood benches. You'll love sitting in the rocking chair by the Brown County stone fireplace in the living room to watch Satellite TV. Around the corner is a fully equipped kitchen/dining room, with an old-fashioned-looking electric stove and new small oven. On the same level is a porch where you can relax on the swing or have coffee at the table and watch for wildlife in the woods. There are 2 large bedrooms and a full bath upstairs. The main bedroom has a queen bed with a Sampler quilt. The second bedroom has a trundle bed and two singles. The lower level has a second living room/den with TV & DVD, bedroom with antique double bed and opens out to a screened-in porch. From the porch, you will walk out to the hot tub on the deck. where you can sit and relax under the stars. Totally surrounded by woods, filled with quilts and antiques, Quilters Cabin is a great place to vacation and enjoy the beauty and solitude that is Brown County. |
