Retreat on the CreekWelcome to Retreat on the Creek, a charming, rustic two bedroom, two bath cabin set among ancient towering Sycamore trees. Owl Creek meanders through the front yard and there is a protective hill behind the cabin.The yard is spacious with nice landscaping, and level spaces for horseshoes or hillbilly golf. Give the neighboring horses an apple or carrot, watch the birds that frequent the feeders, or just curl up with a good book or take a nap in the hammock stretched between two trees. Listen to the creek as you relax in the hot tub in the pergola or sit on one of the two decks and enjoy a cup of coffee. Rock your cares away in one of the rockers on the front porch.or hunt for geodes in the creek. The interior of the cabin has been freshly painted and features hickory style lodge furniture. There is a gas log fireplace in the living room and designer bedding on the beds. Each bedroom has its own television and we have several wonderful Brown County paintings on the walls. There is a sleeper sofa in the living room where you will find a good collection of DVDs, lots of family board games and books and magazines galore. As former renters of vacation cabins ourselves, we have tried to make the Retreat the best! We will always try to have coffee, tea, sugar and creamer and microwave popcorn available for you in the kitchen.. This cabin is the culmination of our life long dream to own a place in Brown County; we hope you enjoy it as much as we do. Although the Retreat is secluded, we are only three miles from Nashville on good roads. You will not need four-wheel drive to get to us.
