South Shore Guest Cottage, by the south shore of beautiful Lake Lemon, is a 100 year old recently renovated and remodeled lake cottage offering all the comforts of home. This nautical charmer offers two bedrooms with queen sized beds and a small attic bedroom with three twin sized beds. One queen bedroom has a television with cable. There are two full baths, both with "rain" shower heads. One has a jetted bath tub. Imagine pouring a glass of wine and soaking in the jetted tub after a hard day at play! Doesn't that sound wonderful? South Shore Guest Cottage has two living rooms. Both have televisions with cable, and both have comfortable sitting areas for enjoying the company of all your guests. One of the living rooms offers a sleeper sofa, a dorm sized refrigerator and microwave. Great for those late night snacks while enjoying a movie! Popcorn, anyone? Breakfast couldn't be easier. The fully equipped kitchen is stocked with delicious muffins. Coffee, tea, and hot chocolate are also provided. Just outside the kitchen door is the oversized wrap around deck with two sitting areas and a large gas grill. Dine outside, or just enjoy the harmony of nature's sounds while relaxing after the day's events. South Shore Guest Cottage is conveniently located between Nashville and Bloomington.Talk about the ideal location. Just across the road, guests of South Shore Cottage enjoy I.U.'s Beachwood Heights, the perfect spot for hiking, biking, picnicking and walking around the lake. Bringing a boat? The Cottage is only three minutes from Riddle Point Park where you may access the boat ramp. There is plenty to do and see right on the property. Explore the 40 acres behind the cottage.
