White Pines Cabin near Lake Monroe Located 50 miles south of Indianapolis, Indiana. In Bloomington, Indiana take St. Rd. 446 towards Lake Monroe. (This home not appropriate for children under 16 years) This log cabin has 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, a swimming pool (open May thru Sept). There is a fireplace and pool table for cozy evening fun after a day of fishing or boating on Lake Monroe. The upper level has a full kitchen, bedroom (double bed) and a full bath. There is also a small sitting room and an alcove with a single bed. The back deck and front porch (with swing) and a beautiful wooded area make this cabin great for relaxing and perfect for special occasions. The lower level has a living room with wood burning fireplace, bedroom (double), full bath and pool table room with a walkout to a large deck with a view of the woods where sometimes you can see eagles perching, and other wildlife. 2 miles to beautiful Lake Monroe Resevoir 6 miles to Indiana Unversity College 20 miles to Brown County State Park 20 miles to McCormick's Creek State Park The owners have a private residence in the detached garage right next door to the White Pines Cabin. They are on site if you have any problems or you need directions to any of these locations.
